Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe has today been de-registered from the NRL following last night's ARLC meeting.
At 8am this morning, Wests Tigers were informed by the NRL that they were issuing a preliminary breach notice in relation to an ambassador agreement with club veteran and life-member Robbie Farah.
As a result, Chief Executive Officer Justin Pascoe has been indefinitely de-registered with the NRL, but the club are not backing down.
In a statement issued by the Wests Tigers this morning, they stated "Wests Tigers are particularly concerned about the wrongful attack on the integrity of the club's CEO. For the last three years Justin has shown nothing but respect for the NRL and the salary cap."
The statement continued "The club with be vigorously defending this."
Alongside Pascoe's de-registration, the club was hit with an $800,000 fine and a $700,000 salary cap penalty for the 2019 season.
These allegations come shortly after the club released Head Coach Ivan Cleary form his contract to rejoin the Penrith Panthers.
The club have since signed Kiwis head coach Michael Macguire and coach Macguire has so far made a steady impact, resigning star halfback Luke Brooks to the club for another five years.
